The Information Technology Industry Council Americas Policy team seeks a qualified undergrad interested in Western Hemisphere or tech policy to further their academic and career development in a policy advocacy organization. Undergraduate candidates should be Rising Sophomore, Junior, or Senior actively attending an accredited undergraduate program with a major/interest in the areas listed in the description. The Policy Team position is available for academic credit or an hourly wage of $15/hour for undergrads with a 25-hour work week from Monday-Friday.

Black Girl 44 Scholarship to help Fund Summer Internships

The Black Girl 44 Scholarship was created by Obama White House alum Deesha Dyer to encourage the pursuit of internships in politics and public service. This private and independent initiative will award ten $1,000 scholarships to Black/African-American undergraduate women who have secured an internship in politics or public service across the nation for Summer 2021, including virtual opportunities. Candidates must be a Black/African-American woman (incl. those with pronouns they/them/theirs) who are enrolled in an accredited college/university (including but not limited to undergraduate four-year programs, community colleges, vocational and trade schools) or graduated within the last year.

Currently enrolled undergraduate women or recent graduates are welcome to apply for the Public Leadership Education Network Global Policy Seminar. At the five-day Women in Global Policy seminar, college women will learn how to launch their international policy career through participating in policy discussions, diplomacy simulations, and connecting with women leaders who are shaping policy in DC and across the world. The PLEN Scholarship Fund will assist students in funding a portion and/or all of the program and registration fees associated with attending the seminar.
