Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals

The Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange for Young Professionals (CBYX) is a fellowship funded by the German Bundestag and State Department, that annually provides 75 American and 75 German young professionals between the ages of 18½–24 the opportunity to spend one year in each other’s countries: studying, interning, and living with hosts. Participants are expected to represent the diversity of the US in factors including, but not limited to, career field, educational background, geographic location, disabilities, ethnicity, gender, race, religion and socio-economic status. US or German citizenship required. Must exhibit career goals and relevant experience in their career field (work, internships, or volunteering). Strong interest in German and world affairs. Prior German language knowledge is not required.

Women in International Trade awards $1,500 prizes to support and encourage women studying all aspects of International Trade, including global business and supply chains, economic development, women’s economic empowerment, trade policy and negotiations, and more. Applicants must identify as female and be currently enrolled at an accredited US university or college, either full-time or part-time. Applicants must be undergraduate Juniors or Seniors. Awards will be based on the quality of the assigned essay and the applicant's demonstrated interest in international trade.
