Internships with the Food and Agriculture Organization with Stipend

The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) leads international efforts to defeat hunger and to achieve food security for all and make sure that people have regular access to enough high-quality food to lead active, healthy lives. The intern will be assigned to different fields of work according to his/her profile and the needs of the Organization. Candidates should be enrolled "in a bona fide educational institution" at the time of application or recent graduate, specialize in a field relevant to the mission and work of FAO, have working knowledge of Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian or Spanish (Knowledge of a second FAO language an asset), be nationals of an FAO Member Nation, aged between 21 and 30, and have appropriate residence or immigration status in the proposed duty station prior to the start of the internship assignment. FAO pays a monthly stipend to interns if they are not sponsored by sending universities or other entities.

Conference on Asian Pacific American Leadership Paid Public Service Internships

CAPAL’s Public Service Internship Program places students within the public sector throughout the United States. Placements may be in rural or urban areas, such as DC, Alaska, Delaware, or California. Applicants should have a strong academic record and a demonstrated commitment to public service, including service to the Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander community. All current students and all majors are welcome to apply. US citizenship is not required. In addition to their internship requirements, interns will participate in CAPAL’s programming, such as professional development workshops.
