Paid Internships with the European Parliament Office in the US (US Nationals)

Deadline for Spring 2022: Tuesday, December 10, 2021  

The European Parliament Liaison Office in DC invites recent graduates with the right to work in the United States to apply for a full-time, paid internship. Candidates must have completed studies at least at undergraduate level and must be able to provide a diploma/official transcript at least one month before the beginning of the internship. Interns receive a monthly stipend of €1,336, accident and sickness insurance, and two days of personal leave per month. Interns will split their time working in the DC office and working from home.

The New American Engagement Initiative Annual Student Competition is a magnet for young, unconventional thinkers and doers who desire to enliven the strategic discourse about the United States’ role in the world. It provides undergraduates from different academic disciplines with an opportunity to develop their critical thinking, writing, and communications skills by offering them a platform to engage with their peers as well as seasoned mentors.

Amasia Remote Paid Fellowship

Deadline: Monday, December 6, 2021 

Amasia offers a paid remote fellowship program for undergraduates. During the fall and spring semesters, the Fellowship is part-time; over the summer, it is full-time for all or half of the summer. Fellows work with managing partners on topics related to venture capital, sustainability, and climate change. The program requires strong writing and research skills. Past projects include looking at moral hazards and returns in venture capital, investment in cleantech, sustainable food production, and the impact of behavioral change on climate, and corporate climate.

Brenda A. Brown Passport Scholarship

Deadline: Friday, December 3, 2021

United States citizens in high school or college who are applying for their first-ever United States passport are invited to apply for the Brenda A. Brown Passport Scholarship through Expanding Boundaries International. The Scholarship will address the costs of the passport. Applicants must be ready to study, intern, or volunteer abroad in the near future and to apply for a passport between January and March 2022.
