OECD Young Associates Programme

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development Young Associates Programme is a two-year programme targeted at recent undergraduates who wish to gain their first professional experience in the world of multilateral policymaking, research, and analysis. It is designed to act as a springboard for them to future postgraduate study. To be eligible, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in the academic field related to the position(s) of interest, hold a nationality of an OECD Member country, have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, show evidence of being able to work constructively in a team, have fluency in English and/or French and a commitment to reach a good working level of the other, be able to start the Programme in September 2022 for the two-year assignment. Applications from candidates who already hold or are enrolled in a Master’s, PhD, or equivalent degree will not be considered.

William Randolph Hearst Social Innovation Fellowship for Minority Students

Deadline: Wednesday, December 1, 2021

The Aspen Institute Program on Philanthropy and Social Innovation offers the William Randolph Hearst Endowed Fellowship three times annually. Candidates for this fellowship are highly motivated students from underrepresented communities of color. The fellow must be able to intern for 12-15 weeks in the DC office of the Aspen Institute during the academic semester in which the fellowship is awarded. Fellows will be compensated on an hourly basis in the fall, spring, and summer.

Munich Security Conference Essay Contest

The Munich Security Conference (MSC) is calling for applications to become a Junior Ambassador. Applicants will participate in an essay contest on a question on security threats. The contest is open to students and young professionals between 18 and 28. The three most inspiring essay writers will receive an invitation to the MSC 2022 conference. MSC will cover the travel expenses and will provide accommodation at a conference hotel.

The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute Congressional Internship Program (CIP) provides promising Latino undergraduates of any major a paid placement in a congressional office for a period of 12 weeks (Spring / Fall) or 10 weeks (Summer). The program includes payment of $3,750 (Fall / Spring) or $3,125 (Summer), as well as domestic round-trip transportation to DC, all expenses covered housing, academic credit, leadership training, networking, and professional development opportunities, and more.

Alfa Fellowship

The Alfa Fellowship provides emerging leaders (age age 25-35) from the US, UK, Germany with professional experience in business, media, law, policy, arts/cultural management, and related areas through an 11-month fully funded fellowship in Moscow. The fellowship provides a monthly stipend, accommodation, insurance, all program-related travel costs, language training in Russia, and private tutoring in the US, UK, or Germany.
