Bush Foundation Fellowship

The Bush Foundation invites applications for its Fellowship Program. The program celebrates visionary and innovative leaders residing in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, or one of the twenty-three Native nations that share the same geography. Fellows can use the grant for any number of activities. Examples of things fellows have used their grant awards for in the past include completing a bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree; attending conferences and conventions; studying effective change strategies; improving their ability to build and sustain coalitions; participating in leadership development programs and mentoring; and developing specific skills such as conflict and change management, facilitation, and public speaking. The fellowship can be used to cover a wide variety of costs, including living expenses, tuition, conference registration, equipment, travel, and child care.

FINANCING & SCHOLARSHIPS

Spring 2023 Deadline: Friday, November 4, 2022

Each term, CAPA select a team of student bloggers, vloggers, and TikTok vloggers to share their study abroad experiences on the CAPA World blog. Our Fall, Spring, and Summer bloggers, vloggers, and TikTok vloggers receive a grant to help generate content while abroad.

To be eligible, you must have been accepted to study abroad on a CAPA program, and along with your application, you must complete a sample blog/vlog entry based on a prompt and submit a link to show examples of your work.

Official bloggers and vloggers submit content to deadlines during their CAPA program, and then wrap up with an additional reflection post once they have completed their program. There are a few required topics to cover, but also plenty of room for creativity.

To apply for a Blogger/Vlogger Grant, fill out the form at the link below completely by the application deadline. You will need to send a sample blog or vlog, so make sure to include a shareable URL.

The Cargill Global Scholars Program

The Cargill Global Scholars Program provides financial support and leadership development opportunities to undergraduate students from around the world. Scholarships will be awarded to talented, high performing students pursuing studies in such fields as agriculture, food, biological sciences, technology, engineering, international relations, sustainability, and business.

The Cargill Global Scholars Program is more than just a traditional scholarship program – it’s a global program that is designed to foster and enhance leadership potential and critical thinking skills, creating a global network for scholars to become the next generation of global leaders, decision makers, visionaries, and socially conscious innovators.

Scholarship Benefits

Each Cargill Global Scholar will:

Receive an annual scholarship award for up to two years, to help off-set any academic related expenses.

Participate in a fully-funded In-Country Leadership Seminar (Year 1) and Global Leadership Seminar (Year 2) with fellow scholars from around the world.

Receive mentorship from Cargill employees to help the scholars identify short and long term academic and professional goals, working one-on-one with mentors to reach these goals through networking and ongoing communications.

Participate in a series of experiential learning modules, including leadership development training, coupled with networking opportunities with Cargill executives.

#ShareTheMicInCyber Fellowship

#ShareTheMicInCyber (#STMIC) seeks to enhance diversity and address the challenges raised by systemic racism in the field of cybersecurity. Research Fellows conduct original research on a cybersecurity topic of their choice. Impact Fellows conduct a substantive cybersecurity project to aid and enhance the field; over the course of the year, they will work to turn that concept into reality, with the support of the ShareTheMicInCyber fellowship program. Fellows receive an honorarium of $20,000 and professional development opportunities. Individuals who work within cybersecurity or are looking to transition into cybersecurity should apply. You do not need to be a US citizen to apply.
