The Center for Economic and Policy Research (CEPR) is currently looking for an International Program Intern for Summer 2022. This is a full-time, remote position. Applicants with a general understanding of economics, international relations, and democracy issues, and an interest in economic justice desired. Previous research, data, and/or outreach experience is extremely helpful. Proficiency in Spanish preferred. Internships paid $2,694.40 per month and interns are eligible for reimbursement of health insurance plan costs up to $295.69 per month.

START offers paid internships year round on a variety of research projects and teams. During the course of their internship, participants are exposed to the most up-to-date theories, methods and information related to the study of terrorism. START’s internship program is open to students (as well as some recent graduates) in any related discipline from any institution. Participants work at least 10 hours/week during the fall and spring semesters and 20 hours/week during the summer. Students receive a $3,000 stipend during the summer semesters and a $2,250 stipend during the spring and fall semesters. All interns are required to work onsite with their research project staff. Because interns work directly with our researchers and staff on current research projects, the internship positions vary depending on our research portfolio.

The Center for a New American Security wants to elevate emerging and diverse voices in national security. Selected applicants will make their pitch for innovative policy ideas to renew American competitiveness in front of a panel of judges and live studio audience. To be eligible, applicants must be between 25 and 35 years old (as of June 16, 2022), a US citizen OR US resident OR enrolled at a US institution and be available to present their pitch virtually at CNAS' 2022 National Security Conference.
