Amasia Remote Paid Fellowship

Amasia offers a paid remote fellowship program for undergraduates. During the fall and spring semesters, the Fellowship is part-time; over the summer, it is full-time for all or half of the summer. Fellows work with managing partners on topics related to venture capital, sustainability, and climate change. The program requires strong writing and research skills. Past projects include looking at moral hazards and returns in venture capital, investment in cleantech, sustainable food production, and the impact of behavioral change on climate, and corporate climate.

Brenda A. Brown Passport Scholarship

Deadline: Friday, December 3, 2021

United States citizens in high school or college who are applying for their first-ever United States passport are invited to apply for the Brenda A. Brown Passport Scholarship through Expanding Boundaries International. The Scholarship will address the costs of the passport. Applicants must be ready to study, intern, or volunteer abroad in the near future and to apply for a passport between January and March 2022.

OECD Young Associates Programme

The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development Young Associates Programme is a two-year programme targeted at recent undergraduates who wish to gain their first professional experience in the world of multilateral policymaking, research, and analysis. It is designed to act as a springboard for them to future postgraduate study. To be eligible, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in the academic field related to the position(s) of interest, hold a nationality of an OECD Member country, have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, show evidence of being able to work constructively in a team, have fluency in English and/or French and a commitment to reach a good working level of the other, be able to start the Programme in September 2022 for the two-year assignment. Applications from candidates who already hold or are enrolled in a Master’s, PhD, or equivalent degree will not be considered.

William Randolph Hearst Social Innovation Fellowship for Minority Students

Deadline: Wednesday, December 1, 2021

The Aspen Institute Program on Philanthropy and Social Innovation offers the William Randolph Hearst Endowed Fellowship three times annually. Candidates for this fellowship are highly motivated students from underrepresented communities of color. The fellow must be able to intern for 12-15 weeks in the DC office of the Aspen Institute during the academic semester in which the fellowship is awarded. Fellows will be compensated on an hourly basis in the fall, spring, and summer.

Munich Security Conference Essay Contest

Deadline: Wednesday, December 1, 2021

The Munich Security Conference (MSC) is calling for applications to become a Junior Ambassador. Applicants will participate in an essay contest on a question on security threats. The contest is open to students and young professionals between 18 and 28. The three most inspiring essay writers will receive an invitation to the MSC 2022 conference. MSC will cover the travel expenses and will provide accommodation at a conference hotel.
