Payne Fellowship Program

The USAID Donald M. Payne International Development Graduate Fellowship Program seeks to attract outstanding individuals who want to work on the front lines of some of the most pressing global challenges of our times — poverty, hunger, injustice, disease, environmental degradation, climate change, conflict and violent extremism – through the US Agency for International Development Foreign Service. The award includes up to funding toward tuition and fees for completion of a two-year master’s degree at a US institution; a stipend for each academic year for room, board, books and other education-related expenses; and a stipend, housing, transportation, and related expenses for summer internships. Payne Fellows also participate in two internships (in DC and with a USAID Mission abroad). Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher. US Citizens.

Paid Internship in Social Media and Communications, Global Food Security Program

The Center for Strategic and International Studies seeks a full-time Communications and Social Media Intern in DC to provide administrative, strategic communications, and social media support to its Global Food Security Program. Must have at least a 3.3 GPA from an accredited U.S. institution or equivalent from a non-U.S. institution. Must be available to work five days a week, Monday through Friday, for a total of 35 hours, from January to June 2022.

Cybersecurity Talent Initiative

The Cybersecurity Talent Initiative is a public-private partnership aimed at recruiting and training a world-class cybersecurity workforce to federal agencies.  The program is a selective opportunity for students in cybersecurity-related fields to gain vital public and private sector work experience and even receive up to $75,000, inclusive of tax, in student loan assistance.  Participants selected for the program will be guaranteed a two-year placement at a federal agency with cybersecurity needs.  Students in undergraduate degree programs in a cybersecurity-related field, such as computer science, engineering, information systems, and mathematics are ideal candidates for this program.
