Foreign Affairs Open House will connect you directly with representatives at top programs in international affairs, public policy, diplomacy, and political science - all from the comfort of your home, office, smartphone, or tablet.  This event is free to all attendees.

As a graduate school candidate, you have the ability to explore school program information and opportunities. Choose which schools you want to interact with and then engage in one-on-one text and video conversations directly with a representative at those institutions. You can share your background, experience, resume, and ask questions. Maximize your time in the event by getting in line to chat with more than one school at a time.

US Global Leadership Coalition (USGLC) Next Gen Global Leaders Network

USGLC wants to engage, educate, and inspire the next generation of US leaders around critical tools in the foreign policy toolkit. Next Gen Leaders participate in a year-long training program with virtual classes taught by internal and external subject experts. Topics include federal budgeting, development policy, media and communications skills, and advocacy training. Candidates must be between 25–45 as of January 2022, reside in a state where the USGLC has an active presence (although exceptions may be made), be available to attend the USGLC’s Annual Global Impact Forum and State Leaders Capitol Hill Day in DC, and demonstrate leadership capability and growth potential. Costs and associated travel expenses paid for by the USGLC.

Spring 2022 Paid Internships with the Nuclear Threat Initiative in DC

The Nuclear Threat Initiative, a non-profit whose mission is to transform global security by driving systemic solutions to nuclear and biological threats imperiling humanity, is accepting internship applications for Spring 2022. There are approximately 6-8 paid positions for undergraduate students with at least two years of study. Interns are paid $15.20 an hour. Candidates must be in DC, Maryland, or Virginia at the time of the internship. Candidates who cannot relocate to these areas during their internship, even while working remote, cannot be considered at this time.
