ROLLING: CGD Research Assistant Candidate Pool

The Center for Global Development, an independent, non-partisan research organization in DC, accepts applications for their Research Assistant and Program Coordinator *candidate pools.* They reach out to candidates in the pool in the event a position becomes available. Research Assistants support and participate in collaborative research projects and contribute to our work through a mixture of research, data analysis, writing, and organizational activities. Program Coordinators support our program teams through grants and financial management, operational activities, project management, and some substantive research support. Candidates are typically recent undergraduates with an interest in gaining research, policy, programmatic operations, and project management experience before going on to graduate studies. CGD provides Research Assistants and Program Coordinators an opportunity for a promotion to associate after two years in the role.

USA Study Abroad and its Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program invite all interested students from any field of study and background to attend a new free virtual Inside U.S. Foreign Policy series and gain an inside look at how the State Department designs and implements U.S. foreign policy around the world. Through six seminars in June and July 2021, each focused on a specific world region, participants will learn directly from civil and foreign service officers about different areas in the world.

They seek someone who loves to tell stories and uses social media to inspire connection. The Social Media Intern will leverage their strong skills across social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok to amplify awareness about equity and access in the travel industry and bring the Global Glimpse brand to life. 10-15 hrs/week.
