Paid Research Internship, Project on Nuclear Arms Control
The Wisconsin Project on Nuclear Arms Control seeks an intern to conduct research for its Risk Report database. Interns are accomplished students or recent graduates with an interest in nonproliferation and conducting in-depth research. Candidates must have strong research and writing skills. Familiarity with network analysis techniques and trade and other data sources that can be applied to proliferation research is preferred. Experience with data science techniques and programming languages a plus. Proficiency in a foreign language, particularly Chinese (Mandarin), Farsi, Korean or Arabic, helpful. The internship is a paid position. Preference given to candidates who are able to make a three-month commitment of at least 30 hours per week.

TheHayesXChange Passport Scholarship for Students in Florida
The HayesXChange is on a mission to increase passport ownership among underrepresented students throughout the state of Florida. The HayesXChange will award passports to students from underserved backgrounds between ages 16 and 21 who have never traveled abroad. Students are required to write a 500-word essay and upload a 60-second video about the importance of gaining an international education and why they would benefit from having a passport.

Paid Internships, Nuclear Threat Initiative
The Nuclear Threat Initiative, a nonprofit, nonpartisan global security organization focused on reducing nuclear and biological threats, is now taking internship applications for Fall 2021. The program offers approximately 6-8 paid positions 3x a year to undergraduate students with at least two years of study and/ or those who demonstrate co-equal qualifying experience. Interns are paid $15.20 an hour; NTI also welcomes applicants from university-sponsored internship programs. Fall 2021 Term starts September 16, 2021 and ends no later than December 17, 2021.

Hurford Youth Fellowship
The Hurford Youth Fellowship Program seeks to build the leadership skills and harness the potential of young democracy activists from around the world. Young activists spend three months at the World Movement’s Secretariat, during which they engage in strategic meetings; conduct research; and organize and lead presentations, online discussions, and information-sharing sessions on key democracy issues. Upon the successful completion of each fellowship, fellows serve as a regional/country focal point, working with the Hurford Youth Fellowship Alumni Network to remain involved and take the lead in World Youth Movement activities.
