UNESCO Young Researcher Grants

UNESCO launched a call for young people under the age of 35 to apply for the 2021 ‘Silk Roads Youth Research Grant.’ Twelve research grants of $10,000 will be awarded. The Grant aims to mobilize young researchers for further study of the Silk Roads shared heritage. The proposed research may be carried out by an individual researcher or may be part of the research of a group or collaborative project. Proposed research may cover one or several themes associated with the Silk Roads shared heritage including, but not limited to: Science and Technology, Traditional Knowhow and Craftsmanship, Religion and Spirituality, Language and Literature, Arts and Music, and Traditional Sports and Games.

Raytheon Scholarship for Navy Vets

Raytheon Scholarship for Navy Vets

Raytheon Missiles & Defense is accepting applications for its SPY-6 scholarship to benefit US Navy student veterans. In partnership with Student Veterans of America, two $10,000 scholarships will be awarded to sailors who pursue a degree at an accredited university and demonstrate leadership in their local community. Must be a current student Navy/Navy Reserve Veteran, as demonstrated by a current transcript, entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year of undergraduate study, or be enrolled in a graduate program for the 2021-2022 academic year.

This Fulbright-Hays--Doctoral Dissertation Research program provides grants to colleges and universities to fund individual doctoral students who conduct research in other countries, in modern foreign languages and area studies for periods of six to 12 months. Graduate students in doctoral programs in the fields of foreign languages and area studies must apply through the institutions in which they are enrolled. Must be citizens/national/pres residents of the United States.

Paid Summer Internship with the Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellows Program

The Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellows Program seeks a motivated individual to serve as a paid intern for Summer 2021. This paid internship provides professional development opportunities in the area of international exchange, with a focus on the program's website and social media presence, support for program publications and competition, and database management. The intern will interact with Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellows in residence at the International Forum for Democratic Studies, the research and publications arm of the NED, and participate in the collegial environment of the Forum, including fellows’ presentations and other NED events. Candidate must be a registered student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate-level program.
